Rates

A summary of my skills and experience can be found on my About me page. My rates are competitive within the industry and I usually charge in one of two ways:

Per Project

My usual method of pricing is to take your project brief and then give you a total cost quotation  based on the number of hours I think it will take me to complete the task. Once the brief and quotation are agreed upon by both parties (as well as a contractual agreement), I will commit to that quotation, even if the project takes longer than I anticipate. This of course does not take into account changes to the project brief or third party expenses such as hosting or software licensing costs.

Per Hour

I do have clients who prefer to hire me by the hour and this model works well for clients who wants some simple consultancy with either their website or IT setup. Currently, my hourly rate is £25 per hour, which works out to be £200 per 8 hour day or £1000 a working week. This might sound a lot, but it is lower than an agency would charge. These rates are not negotiable. When I’m charging by the hour, I charge in one hour blocks.

Invoicing

I usually invoice for part payment at various stages of the project. This is to protect myself as well as help you manage your costs and budget. Invoices are to be paid within 14 days.
