The Harbour Centre
is a Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) based in the county of Norfolk, UK. The Harbour Centre offers the facility for medical examinations for rape and sexual assault victims without police involvement; this is to help the victim feel at ease when coming forward to report the crime.
The Harbour Centre is a venture between Norfolk Constabulary and NHS Great Yarmouth. To bring awareness to the Centre, I was task to design and construct the website, but due to the dark nature of the subject, the brief was to keep the aesthetics simple and pleasing.
It only took 3 weeks from start to finish to complete the project and the website is W3C compliant, meets accessibility, as well as working in all major browsers including Internet Explorer 6.
